Stroud Plastics is a successful trading division of Stroud Metal Company which specialise in medium and high volume Plastic injection moulded and plastic over-moulded metal assemblies and components.
Operating from the same £6m brand new purpose build facility as Stroud Metal Co Ltd, as part of its ambitious expansion plans to fill production capacity of its mainly brand new electric and hybrid electric moulding equipment, Stroud Plastics require a dynamic and self-motivated a plastics Sales Executive capable of generating profitable new project opportunities to grow the plastics division of Stroud Metal Co Ltd.
Based from either their home or from the factory in Stonehouse, Glos., the successful candidate will typically have a minimum of 5+ years of successful experience in sales of plastic injection moulded products and be as self-starter and highly motivated

We strongly believe in encouraging young engineering talent and that those people once passing through the apprentice scheme we operate at Stroud Metal, become key to the ongoing success of our business. By working closely with the local technical colleges, we are able to help students realise their full potential.
Looking only for bright, self motivated and talented individuals with a genuine interest in engineering. We will be recruiting 2-4 apprentices for our 2024 intake for eventual opportunities in tool-making, press and injection mould tool design, quality, press setting and tool development. Experienced press tool setters are required to support our existing team working with single action, high speed Bruderer presses and would be able to work within the strict health and safety rules. A current ROSPA certificate and experience of operating fork lift trucks would be an advantage.
Fully experienced toolmakers are required to join our existing team. The suitable applicant would ideally have experience of working within the press working industry with a full understanding of press tool making and the tool-room equipment used. Responsibilities of the successful applicant will include the manufacture of in-house designed tooling, along with the repair and modification of existing tooling. An ability to read engineering drawings and to work within specified tolerances is essential.
Engineers are required to resolve any tool related problems and to progress our in house designed progressive die and transfer tooling through initial sampling to full production. The successful applicants would require a full understanding of press tooling and possess excellent problem solving and team-working skills.
All applicants should have experience of working in a press-working environment and be able to demonstrate a full understanding of processes and techniques used within the press-working industry. Suitable personnel would be experienced and motivated self-starters capable of working with the minimum of supervision and be able to communicate and integrate effectively with our existing teams.
Stroud Metal Company operate with Platarg, US Baird and Invernizzi transfer presses up to 130 tonnes and Bruderer and other single action high speed stamping presses up to 50 tonne capacity. Experience of working with these or similar machines would be a distinct advantage.
